Claudio Sadler

A Michelin starred chef who plays by his own rules. His workhorse is the perfect combination of traditional Italian cuisine with influences dictated by the heart.

Claudio Sadler began his career about thirty years ago, when he opened his first restaurant, the "Locanda Vecchia Pavia" in 1982. Since then he has never stopped cooking, receiving his first Michelin star in 1991 for the restaurant 'Osteria di Porta Cicca' in Milan and his second in 2002 for the same restaurant.

Preparing good food for others is a sign of great generosity, a trait that the chef does not lack. He also manages several restaurants in Milan, dedicates part of his time to teaching young hopeful chefs the basics of the craft.

Moreover, in 2018 he was awarded the "Ambrogino d'Oro", the highest honor bestowed by the City of Milan for his career dedicated to the common good. Since 2012, he has also been a member of the "Le Soste" association, which works to spread the excellence of Italian cuisine around the world.
